1967-1969 Camaro Rebuilt 12 Bolt Posi. Richmond 3.73 Ring and Pinion and Rebuilt Eaton 3 Series Posi. A Timken Master Bearing Kit was installed with new Axle Bearings and Seals. Stock Axles are excellent with no grooves or pitting on the bearing surface.

Tube - Sept 2nd, Detroit Gear & Axle, Eaton Positraction Differential
Mono Leaf Perches. Unmolested Original Housing for a 67-69 Camaro. Complete from Backing Plate to Backing Plate.
The housing needs to be painted.

The "PL" is the part that is confusing. PL was only used for the Camaro in 1967 and was a 3.55 open 12 bolt differential. In 1968, PL was used for 3.55 open Nova differential, 12 bolt or 10 bolt unknown. The interesting fact that there is an "E" stamped under the G would indicating and Eaton positraction diffrerential. The "E" would normally be stamped next to the "G" for Detroit Gear & Axle. Of course, there was no set standard, so either the person that stamped it from the factory did it that way or someone tried to stamp it later in life, which is probably unlikely. So, judging by the fact the most of the dates are close, it is probably a 3.55 open out of a 1968 Nova that came down the line and eventually ended up as a Posi, given the fact of the "E" stamped in at the end. The plants did funny things back on the line in those days.
