Description:
|
1969 Camaro Z/28 Norwood X33 real deal, was taken off the road in 1972 and converted to a race car showing 39K orig. miles and looking at the orig. seats, pedal pads and factory uncut tach dash even the radio holes are perfect I'd believe it. The body is AMAZINGLY SOLID and still has all orig. sheet metal except the part where they tubed and rear clipped the rear chassis but my intensions are if the car doesn't sell to race it this coming season and then offically retire the car and restore it all back to original. The car is street legal right now with DOT tires, lights ect.. all still work so I guess call it a Pro-Street at the moment but a truely cool old ride! It now has a "DZ427" BBC with all receipts on the motor, a new trans-brake Power Glide and a 5.33 Dana 60 rear end!! Asking $make offer Thanks for looking....

Just e-mail me and I can forward you a whole bunch of photo's of the car, no problem! I'm only assuming that back in '72 when the car was converted from the street to the drag strip the reason must had been the motor or running gear had already been used up if you know what I mean...? But I haven't done much in tracking any of it down yet either so who knows.......Maybe theres something out there??

I took the old Hot Rod out to the track last nite and low and behold if it didn't feel right at home and beat up on a few Fords and Mopars!! Raced Pro-Bracket and had a ball, made it all the way to the semi finals and took myself out with a red light, all in all a great night!!
