Description: 1970 Camaro RS Z28 Automatic Turbo 400, 12 Bolt (410 gears) Original Equipment CE Block (Warranty Exchange)

Copper exterior with black stripes. Black interior, comfort weave seats and wood grain inserts in the odometer cluster and the door panels which are in good condition. Has remote driver side mirror. The car is a project and needs everything redone, but all of the hard to find stuff is there to be reconditioned. Exterior is also a project and needs outer sheet metal on the lower quarter panels and the front fenders. The driver side front pillar by the front windshield is rusty but very repairable. This is a California car, but has been in Florida and Carolinas for the last twenty years. The inner fenders and inner quarters are in great condition. The floor pans and rockers are solid as well. Everything looks great except for the outer quarters and frnt outer fenders & frnt pillar. There is a pin hole of rust in the very center of the trunk pan. There is also a dent just behind the passenger side door. I do not have the original documentation but I do have emails from previous owners stating that it is a RS Z28 and that the engine and heads were replaced under warranty. It does not have the original double hump heads on it, however; It does have the 041 heads on it. I have driven it around the block to keep everything functional and it drives like a 1970 model camaro with a lot of power. Records show that it was doing 14's and 13.9 with slicks back in the 1980's. Tells us why it doesn't have the original block and heads. Buyer is responsible for pickup. No deliveries.
