Re: Old Camaro TV Commercials

Nice commericals, but, I want to see the Shell Oil Co. commerical circa 1970, with a1969 Camaro Z/28 and no words spoken, just text at the last 10 seconds:
"Shell, it performs."

Only seen the commerical once. Shell marketing does not remember the advertisement.
And there is a way to post the YouTube screen, I can't remember at this point in time...........

On the YouTube clip you want to share here you click the Share radio button then click on "show options" since the default is short links shown and short links no longer work here on TC for some unknown reason. Next click the "Long Link" check box then copy the link.

Come over to your posting here at TC and click the insert link button on the toolbar (the icon with the earth and the infinite loop). The link box pops up, paste your buffer over the preloaded http:// from YouTube and click ok.

It will insert here in the text of your post. Done, unless you want to change the default text label (which should be highlighted at the end of the string of text you just inserted) to what you want it to display on the top of the player box. If you change nothing the pasted URL to the video will display.

Or ....

Pull up the 'YouTube' video you want - right click to the right of the link in top bar and click "Copy" and post that link ... like this ...

1968 Convertible
Some trucks
Other V8 things - some of which float
Other V6 things - none of which float
Oh yeah, and 1 "Straight-Six" ...

If a man says something in the garage - and his wife can't hear him - is he still wrong !!!

Check out the door to quarter alignment at 25 seconds in.
Also check out the baby on moms lap in the front seat 39 seconds.

Re: Old Camaro TV Commercials

Wow good eye. How crazy is that? That quarter is way out of whack! Can't believe it would make it in a commercial like that. As for the baby, things sure have changed since '67!
