68 rs lower valance on a 67rs

what would have to be done to a 68 rs camaro lower valance to use it on a 67 camaro rs? i have all the required parts for a 67 camaro rs already. thanks

1967 Red/Red RS/SS 350 4 speed

The valance itself will bolt right up, no difference there.
There IS however a difference in how the RS parking lights mount, so be aware of that.
The '68's bolt in using cage nuts in the valance, ...where '67 has no cage nuts and the lamp assembly is held in place with a 'bracket' that holds the lamp in place.

ok but what if anything would i have to do to use a 68 valance?

The only difference between the 2 are the lights. You need to use 67 lights with the 67 valence and vice cersa.

Yep, park lights/ mounting are the only difference. Would be fairly easy to cut the existing mounts off the 68 valance and use the original 67 hardware if needed...

  • '68 RS, AA, 749, L30, M(uncie)20 (originally a 3spd), 15yr backburner resto........
