You need to swap in the spoiler tension rod. It is thicker than a non spoiler rod so it will make up for the additional weight of the spoiler. Sometimes you can adjust the position of the rods depending on where they are set and it may help but swapping the rod should take care of the problem.
If you look up under the trunk you'll see that the tension rods sit in "notches". On my car, after I added the spoiler the trunk would not stay up. I was able to move my tension rods up a notch which increased the tension and helped quite a bit.
Do it carefully. I remember having big pliers. I also think I used a 3/8 inch deep socket on an extension bar to hold the end of the tension rod.
When I added my spoiler I bought new tension rods for spoiler, I have them on the tightest notch and a light breeze can shut it. It's annoying, especially if your working on something in the trunk
