Re: 5.3 pickup truck to 4th gen camaro swap!?

several people on the ls1tech.com conversions & hybrids forum have done that exact swap. A BUNCH more have done 6.0 swaps, which are the same issues as the 5.3 (accessory bracket and intake clearance problems--switch to LS1 Fbody intake and accessories).

1968 Camaro Convertible - LS1, T56, Hooker longtubes, Autokraft pan & mounts, GM LS7 clutch, Borla ProXS, Moser/Strange/Wilwood 9", Covans dash, UltraLite IIs, Procar Elites, Vintage Air GEN-IV, AGR 12:1 steering, Addco swaybars, Hydratech hydroboost

Re: 5.3 pickup truck to 4th gen camaro swap!?

all you need is every part from a Z28 that is related to the engine..
in other words- find a Z28.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?
