I would go through the fuel lines from the tank to the carb and make them as straight and as short (within reason) as possible. The lines at the carb are way too long-the longer the lines the longer the fuel will be exposed to heat under the hood-usually cooler fuel will produce more power and better economy if it is on the cooler side (my experience).
The only place the lines should be long is if you are using a cool can, and the lines shouldn't be braided in there if you are using one.
And I fully understand about the 'to do list' being longer than the 'got done list'. I'm in the same boat as you,lol.
