I hope to have the jeep finished and gone in a month. Which right now the heat is killer and I dreaded working on the car at all.
At least I can work on the Jeep at the shop in the ac.

im pretty happy with how the radio turned out. as you can see...
The down stroke is a little loud. Its not as bad as the vid makes it out to be.

Re: Redemption Build

Had to visit the DMV last week for a work thing.
Asked about my title bc its been almost 3 months since i turned in the papers.
Officer says they have 90 days to give me something.

well i got it.
The Insurance company didnt fill out the Bond information properly.

PCM came back from the Tuner so now i can put the "radio" back together w/ heated seat controls.

Re: Redemption Build

So the Jeep was $3300 profit.
med bills were in the $12,000 range so.. waiting on negotiating that bill. 40% off for paying it all at once early. something's fishy...

made an interior order $1300
about to buy some LS1 stuffs.
So once my lungs decided to send more oxygen to my body ill get to work.

Re: Redemption Build

Few more parts.

spoiler template provided was pretty close. How much i can expect the rear wheel gap to drop once glass, int. etc are in? (mono leaf)

Heated seat elements

Didnt realize deluxe seats were more narrow. Seats are at the upholsters now and the covers will be modified to fit the standard seat frame

Paperwork arrived Friday. Called and faxed copies to the NC DMV. Everything looks to be in order... FINALLY!

Re: Redemption Build

got cheap on the tail lights.
Found a set on eBay for $40. Mainly bought it for the inner housings.
Blasted and painted the bezels. I think it works.

Re: Redemption Build

Thank you.
4 day Holiday weekend so im taking the car back to the shop for a few days.

Threw the interior in for motivation.
Rear seat cover fixed. Looks good, perfect material match, but noticeable to an expert.

Re: Redemption Build

Thanks guys, I blasted them with Aluminium Oxide. They sell it at Northern Tool.
I could spend more time on them to get all the pitting gone but.. they are semi temporary. The sparks that fly when blasting chrome is pretty cool.

I spent all of the thanksgiving holiday w/ the car. I replaced the front rear glass channels, with new metal. Then moved the car back to my dads shop in burlington. Heat, shelter, lights!!!!!!!

Found another rear end on CL. 10bolt 4.11's with locker. The ecu is setup for 3.73's so ill change either depending on how i like it. Not sure about the locker but it was cheap.

So ive been piecing together the front accessories and trying to find the correct hoses. (not as easy as it sounds)
Completed last night:
Power steering lines
Power steering pump w/ smaller Cherokee pulley, Vette one was too big and hit the a arms ( the bolt actually, 1in back mounts+DSE tubulars )
Heater hoses
Lower rad hose, lots of trimming. Upper is still a mystery.
went to 3 hardware stores looking for the right bolts just to end up at the dealership.

and i've found my paint color. It is a very strange pearl blue. Changes color every time you blink.
