Can anyone tell me how hard or easy it is to remove the pulley for the power steering pump in a '67? I need to change my pump, but I read a post that says you need some sort of tool to get the pulley off. If that's true, anyone know where to rent or buy one? Or can I just pry it off?

do not try to pry it off.
you can rent for free, or buy one, at autozone.
it is a simple operation with the correct tool.

If I didn't learn it from my my mentors, I learned it as a result.

on my 68, the pulley just slid off. it had a flat on the shaft, i believe, or something like that, that held it in place, and the nut just keeps it on. i took my nut off and it came right off.
if 67's are the same, it may be easier than you think. good luck with it

All GM power steering pumps until 1975 had a tapered driveshaft with a key and nut that held the pulley in place. Remove the nut and the pulley should come right off. (It could have some rust holding it in place.)

If you have a 1975 or newer GM pump, then the pulley and pump driveshaft are different. They are an interference fit to each other. Then you must use a special puller tool that is designed to grip the pulley hub and thread into the end of the pump driveshaft. Never remove or install the pulley by reacting directly against the pump itself. You will break things inside the pump. You must use the proper tools that react against the driveshaft.
