68 Camaro control arm bushing install Qs

My friend just recieved his control arms back from the powder coaters. I realize it is a 68 but I believe it will be roughly the same procedure as a second gen to install control arm bushings.(Energy Suspension BTW) I still have a couple of questions that maybe you guys can help me with:
1. Will the powder coating pose a problem for installing the control arm bushings?
2. Is there a lubricant I should use for installing these bushings?
3. How will I know when the bushings are pressed far enough?
4. For the upper control arms, I realize the shaft will have to be installed at this time, is there any tips for installing the shaft or any specific procedures?
Thanks guys!

Re: 68 Camaro control arm bushing install Qs

1) Depends on if the powder coater corked the openings or not, you can't have any powdercoating where the bushing sleeves (metal) slide into the control arms. If you do, use a dremel tool with stone attachment and clean off that stuff in those areas.
2) Control Arm bushings (poly at least) come with a grease, you remove the poly bushings from the metal sleeves, grease them up, and slide them back in.
No grease for the metal to metal contact areas but a little PB Blast might help install
3) The shaft that sits between the control arm and the subframe will be snug between the front and rear bushings
4) Install one bushing, install the shaft, start installing the other bushing.
