With factory 15x8 rally's, what is the tallest and widest rear tire (with wheel well chrome) without rubbing. Just put new posi and 3.73's s want to go up from the 235/60/15's to taller and little wider.
I put 235 60 15 on the front with 7 inch ralleys 4 1/4 inch back space.
I had corvette ralleys on before with 4 inch back space. They rubbed all around. After I rebuilt my car. New quarters without rolled wheel lips. The alignment on the front will change where your wheel sits. I gave my alignment guy specs from David P recommendations. I also used button head screws on the front wheel openings. I have a big block ss with 5 leaf rear and one and a half extra leafs. I also have non stock rear perches without those squishy idolaters installed. I would recommend getting your alignment specs figured out for the front then start measuring.
I have 225 x 60 x15 front, 235 x 60 x15 Vette Rallys on a 69 BB with no problems. Used button heads for the top of the chrome. Any bigger to me looks out of proportion and a 60's high rear end and rough ride. Been there done that. JMO
