Header diameter Question

1973 camaro is my project.

I have a fresh sbc 350 10.1 motor.

Hydraulic roller tappet cam

Basic Operating RPM Range
2,400-6,000

Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift
234

Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift
242

Duration at 050 inch Lift
234 int./242 exh.

Advertised Intake Duration
294

Advertised Exhaust Duration
302

Advertised Duration
294 int./302 exh.

Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio
0.533 in.

Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio
0.548 in.

Lobe Separation (degrees)
112

Ported World products sportsman heads

weiand stealth instake

Quick fuel 750 carb

I was thinking about the 2117 1/34 hooker super comp headers.

Do they fit with air conditioning?

You' be ok with 1-3/4" tubes but most would recommend 1-5/8" headers for a 350 that never sees the dark side of 6000 RPM.

Hooker 2130 would be a better choice, 1.62" OD X 30" long.

What is the size of your exhaust ports, doesn't make sense to go much bigger than that or the velocity will suffer in more ways than one.

Nothing larger than 2.5" pipes . Its an over kill going larger.

My engine builder said keep the 1 3/4 headers and go 2 1/2 on the exhaust.Will these fit with the air conditioning?
