I am converting my '67 RS to an EFI Big Block (500") and need to convert to a throttle cable vs. linkage. I know that inline 6's had cables so my question is this: (a) has anyone used an aftermarket or late model setup that they are happy with or (b) where can I get a inline 6 gas pedal assembly (besides a wrecker)? Thanks.

by the way - pictures of the conversion are at http://www.adivanman.homestead.com - I will post as things progress.

Early 70's Novas have a cable operated linkage and there are lots of them in the junkyards. It's a bolt in on first gen cars, all that needs to be added is one hole in the firewall that is already pre-positioned.

Have you looked at Lokars products? They have a bunch of stuff like that, I'm using their throttle cable on my car and it works great.

I just pulled 2 complete throttle cable setups off early Novas at the local pull-n-save for under $10.
