AQm I missing something here I cant seem to get the lower kick panel out? What is the trick? I cant seem to get it out past the innser vent that goes into the sheetmetal? Im trying to get both of them out any tips would be great
A crow bar.
After it's out, cut-off the inner flange that makes it so damn hard to remove. Then be sure your roll bar unbolts instead of being welded. A cutting torch down there wouldn't be good.
Oh, on the drivers side you have to unbolt and set-aside the emergency brake assembly. Three bolts, two are next to the vacuum booster. Have fun, like the rest of us.

Just orient it correctly and it comes right out. It's not a task that can be easily explained because the person doing the removal is responsible for positioning. Once you complete one R&R, the procedure will go easily for all others.
