Re: N30 Steering Wheel

Go to National Parts Group website and look under the Chevelle parts section. Do a search for part numbers C240040 ( COMPLETE SET-UP) and CH20265 ( WHEEL ONLY). It's the same N30 used on Camaro's, but it isn't usually listed with Camaro vendors for some unknown reason. Hope this is what you needed.

68resto, I meant to say ORIGINAL PARTS GROUP instead of National Parts Group. www.opgi.com, PAGE #66. J.R. Too many books laying around!

That looks close, but it's definitely not the same as my '67 N30 steering wheel. As far as I know, no one reproduces the 1967 Camaro N30 steering wheel.

Re: N30 Steering Wheel

Yea, I agree. I also have the one you pictured in the second photo in my car. I only led you to the site because it is the nearest match I have seen as far as a repop. If they would change the areas on the three spokes to match better, then it may be of use. But do watch out for a real 67 Chevelle SS wheel on Chevelle sites, I owned a 67 Chevelle SS 396/375 back in 1970 and it had the same wheel as my SS/RS 396 Camaro. I have been told that the 67 N30 was also available in other Chevrolet cars as a special order such as Nova, Impala SS; etc. but I cannot confirm. Good luck, and I will also do a few more searches to see what I can dig up.

Re: N30 Steering Wheel

I just remembered that sometimes you can call Steve's Camaro and see if he can locate specific parts that we can't seem to locate. just a thought.

Re: N30 Steering Wheel

The OP is looking for the N30 steering wheel with the horn buttons on the spokes, not the standard one as posted above.

Re: N30 Steering Wheel

Thanx for the suggestions. I am looking for the one in the 2nd photo. I have a center but not the wheel. The 67 N30 has grip grooves on 2/3rds of the wheel. I don't really care about the grooves but I don't want to buy a Chevelle wheel and then it not fit. I had the same wheel on my 1st car (67 Camaro) back in the early 80s and I would love to get one for my plain jane 67 now. I truly appreciate you guys sharing the knowledge though.
Thanx again, Jim
