1969 Camaro Convert Auto to Manual

Budget is the key. Looking to spend $800-1000 total so Tremec is out. What components?. Trans, bell housing, clutch, shifter, pedals, z bar, crossmember, driveshaft. Anything else. Car is a 350/350 car currently.

1969 Camaro- My Fav.
2001 Silverado- Tow mule/DD
1986 Toyota- Off road truck

2005 Hummer H2 on 37's- wifes monster

All vehicles Black

If you stick a muncie in, then you can re-used the crossmember and driveshaft. You will need a longer speedo cable. If you have a console, you will need a few parts there, boot, plate, etc.

If you find a trans that has a drivers side speedo (a non-camaro trans) your existing speedo cable will fit.
Make sure the trans is a coarse spline input shaft (10 spline)

I did a PG to muncie swap years ago for a grand, found the trans on ebay for around $400, new hurst shifter and install kit ate up $250, found a used bell on ebay cheap, used flywheel cheap, new pedals, linkage, and clutch.

I think you better double your budget to get that job done, now. As Jim said years ago.

69 Camaro -originally a LM1 car. 327, Edelbrock E-streets, hooker, DUI performance distributors, ultradyne cam, stewart, TRW etc. Vintage Air, AGR steering, Corbeau GTSII seats, 700R4 TPI transmission, 12-bolt w/Eaton 4.11:1
