Thumbs up SuperRare 1968 Chevy II L79 A/C 3 speed Car for sale on Yenko Site

This amazing rare Chevy II was bought and personally restored by current owner Jason Hale. Jason is not a High Dollar Restoration Shop, just a average eveyday Joe who did a awesome Detailed Frame Off Resto Job by himself on this Extremely rare Chevy II 68 L79 A/C car. I don't know of any High End Restoration shop that has done a 1968 Chevy II equal to this rare one.Jason is a self taught younger guy that has advanced very fast in Quality work with focus on all the little details.Check it out its in the Yenko Classifies...

Wow very nice job on the restoration. Dan you should have him help you on your motion car. That would definitly keep the cost down for you and probably be just as nice as the ones coming out of the bigger shops.

By the way the Very Special L79 327/325HP option in a 1968 Chevy II was a non SS badged car. They were hidden Gems on the street. All 1968 Chevy II L79's were Standard 12 bolt multi leaf cars.In 1968 GM allowed Special Factory Gears of 410's 456's and 488's.This was NOT possible in 1969 and up on Novas..Only way for 410 456 488 gears was Dealership Installed when your car came in new.Not sure if the Dealerships would swap out the entire 12 bolt to make it easier and fasterr in 1969 or take out the 355 gears and change it to GM 410 Gears with GM 4 series posi.Bill L had Shallcross Chevrolet change the 355 Gears to 410's right at the Dealership when it came in Brandnew.Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins 1968 White with Black top was originally a Factory L79 327/325HP 4 speed he made into a L78 396/375.Bills car was a extremely early L79 by vin number and copy of invoice I have on that car.
