79 Z28 decals

Does anyone know where you can purchase individual decals instead of buying the entire kit. I am looking for the front air dam decal.
Thanks Carl

I wish it wasn't true myself, but I don't think anyone sells just one piece. You have to buy the whole kit.

Look in the back of the CHP mags and such they have a bunch of decal ads and people that make them, try there.

Actually the front air dam decal is 3 seperate pieces. I have a complete set of the blue 79 Z stripes NOS still in all the individual packages i bought from GM in 1988. Any idea what they are worth? Thanks.

GM used to sell the stripes (when they were still available) individually, but the aftermarket companies only sell the decals as a complete kit. I know this because I needed a passenger side fender decal a while back. I called Phoenix Graphics to ask if they would sell me just the one side. No dice. The only exception is the hood decal for the 80-81's. You can buy the air induction decals and the hood stripe individually.

Re: 79 Z28 decals

Thanks guys. I have found a very good source to buy individual pieces. It is called Stencils & Stripes and they are located in Park Ridge Il. The number is 847 692 6893. The person I spoke to was Ralph. He was very helpful and sent the three pieces needed for the front spoiler out very within two days. Good luck.
