Rear Window Defog Wiring 71 Camaro

I'm restoring a 71 with the rear window defog option. The original switch had apparently failed sometime back and someone attempted to hack in a standard 2p2s toggle switch with an indicator light. My guess is that didn't work so they hacked out the wiring. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this option? The diagram i purchased as a suppliment to the assembly manual shows no options. I purchased the new replacement switch and it has 3 round pins on the backside...help! Thanks

3 position Sx - Off, Low and High - 3 Connectors - 12v Power Source - Low-Spd and Hi-Spd. The Low-Spd run through a Ballast Resistor (Dodge Ignition Resistor will do). Circuit is complete when grounded at the Rear Defrost Fan Motor.

My defogger system is the embedded resistance heater wire in the window. I found the lead from the window to the IP area with a bare end and a fused red accessory wire with no end. I'm trying to piece together the rest of the puzzle.

Must have been a sought after enhancement in Fargo South Dakota. I have a latching countdown timer and a relay...think I'll make her functional. Thanks for the info

No such thing in my opinion. Maybe a 70/74 rear window aftermarket.
And if anyone has a 70 Rear Defog Trough Motor to Rear Deck Plastic Housing & Bezel, I am interested it purchasing it. I believe the 69/70 Cadillac and Tornado items are the same for the 70 Camaro Rear Defogger Interface.
