Arrow WIW? 1968 Chevy Camaro 4 door Wagon Z28 68 camero

Note that his ad is for a CamEro ...

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/2264125919.html

I think that it is actually kind of cool

love his research:

"I have been told this car is 1 of less than 4,000 of these camaros ever made before 1970, and not many still around in this good of condition. "

it is hard to believe that there are 3,999 more out there and that this is the 1st of them that i have ever seen or heard of

the purchase history is very interesting too:

"i bought it from a guy that bought it from the gentleman that found it in the barn, and later had it painted and sold it at pomona swap meet. "

ad content:

At least it's a '68, oh, maybe I wasn't supposed to tell the year..........

Explains a lot - NO self-respecting woman would ever want to be married to someone who would buy something like that

Oh - and;

I've never seen "Dub's" name in the same sentence as 'no accidents'

Other V6 things - none of which float
Oh yeah, and 1 "Straight-Six" ...

Re: WIW? 1968 Chevy Camaro 4 door Wagon Z28 68 camero

Although I would bet it's actually titled as a Chevelle (and the VIN will tell us for sure), if anyone lives in that area and decides to go take a look at the car, can you take pictures of the VIN, the Trim Tag and the Engine Pad so I can add the car to the database? I'm curious to see what it actually is.

Thanks
Ed

Re: WIW? 1968 Chevy Camaro 4 door Wagon Z28 68 camero

He really should have done some extra research on this rare barn find....maybe this one was better left as an undiscovered Camaro wagon....in terms of value, he would have to pay me to take this to the crusher.

Having been to the Pomona Swap meet, I can say with 100% certainty it is high time something is done about that place. They will let in anyone and anything.
