Re: another X11 SS

The SS hood not being blue makes one think it wasn't born with it.

Re: another X11 SS

Appears to be drum brake car... I'd say not SS.

More Armor All on the tires? Those things are poppin'.

If that current high bid is real it gives me a little more hope for the dumper I've got to sell here in a few months.

Re: another X11 SS

My dash pad isn't nearly as bad as that one, but it is pretty warped and doesn't fit very well anymore. Are they worth having them "rebuilt" and does anyone even do that, or should I just replace it.
Thanks,
RJ

Re: another X11 SS

RJ, for a little under $200 you can have it restored.
There's a recent thread for a member that just got his back from the resto house.

Re: another X11 SS

Hmmm.. is it from Centereach, NY or NJ?? It looks like Hurricane Sandy may have submerged it and they decided to sell.

Re: another X11 SS

his reply to me when i told him SS' didn't come with drum brakes and 10 bolts were only used with pg trans on SS models...

Yes they did, but I won't argue with you. If you read any of the Camaro books, you would see that they did. Thanks.
