68 RS Big Block

It seems like this is a dealer so it probably won't break reserve. But it does have the rare "hoods tooth seating"

The badging says 396 but the seller says 454. And it came with a standard interior so somebody has upgraded it.

Doesn't look too bad but midwest cars scare me unless they have been well taken care of.

Looks like your dream? Just add stripes and black roof and lower that back end. Even got the rocker panels painted. Rally wheels?

Yes, it is tempting but I'm sure they're asking way too much for it. I can easily add houndstooth to mine but I'm looking for a car with the 749 interior code. Still....I did put a 'watch' on it

SOLD ! Auction ended early, reserve has been dropped ! lol

Well, they went the extra mile by doing door panels and window regulators as well. Usually it's just seat covers.

Should've put 427 emblems on it !

Not a bad car to start with , If I hadn't have what I do, I would set up a $2k proxy bidding process. That's IF I really wanted it.

Re: 68 RS Big Block

That's a nice looking car - probably my favorite color. Love the tic-toc and houndstooth (excuse me, "hoods tooth").

Hard to tell from the pictures, but it almost looks like the rear lower valence has been molded into the quarters.

All in all, a nicely detailed car.

We haven't even talked about price. What are your opinions on what it's worth?

Question is what you want to pay? I would figure that out and place your proxy bids in increments up to point you can't afford. I think you like the car.

If we mention increments here, the high bidder may be watching. If you look at the bidding id's of each bid, you can see one person is following this up to end of sale or reserve. 6 days left. You are chasing a reserve. If it went to 25k, I would not continue. Not worth it.
