I'm in the process restoring my Camaro '67 ragtop. It looks as though my shock towers need replacing on both sides. I already have the right floor pan and rocker removed. Would it be okay to remove the back brace at this point and replace the shock towers and other helpful tips. Thanks!

Replaceing the shock towers are fairly easy. If you take out the rear seat frame, just take some front to back measurements of it so it goes back in the same place. What are your inner wheel houses like? There harder to replace then the outers. Remember that the shock towers are welded to the inner wheel house. Need a picture?? I have some. graemlins/waving.gif

Heck yeah! I would like to see some photos. The inner wheel housings look good so far,but have a lot of undercoating on them. I guess once I get the brace off I'll be able to see more. Thanks! tongue.gif
