trying to help a friend with his 68 327 powerglide. wont go into park and kick down didn't work. kickdown was easy someone hooked it up wrong. it's working correctly now but shifter plate on trans is cobbled together and i can't make the shifter work, you either get park or low, but not both. shifter is trashed and bushings are bad. see where i can get stuff to fix shifter but only plate for trans available seems to be for a 67 with mech linkage. can anyone show me a picture of the correct plate that mounts the cable at the trans for a 68? and where can i get one? thanks

I'm pretty sure 68 and 69 used the same console shifter set-up. Here is a picture of a factory 69 PG that used a console shifter (cable actuated)

Thanks for the photo, it shows what I need is the correct lever. It looks like I have the correct cable bracket. Looks like someone cut and welded the tab back on my lever in the wrong place. I could try to cut it off and put it on it the right place but I would just be guessing as to where it needed to be. Anyone know where I could get the correct lever?
