The assembly manual shows the rod from the bellcrank to the column is the same, of course. Part number 3945599. The rod from the tranny to the bellcrank is 3955773 for small blocks and 3955776 for big blocks. (This all pertains strictly to Muncie 4-speed equipped cars)

Big and small blocks also use different shifter linkage rods, which must be the reason the interlock linkage rods are also different.

If you found small block rods that cheap, they are almost surely el cheapo imports. If you want the best quility this side of oem or nos, check out Heartbeat City's USA-made and perfectly correct repops.
