This date code font looks funny to me. Is this correct?

Looks like a "RESTORATION" carb to me.
New carb stamped to match any desireable date you need.
He has had more 891 dated Holley carbs than anybody.

The description reads "new". I would say it's a new Holley remake that this guy has stamped but the seller does'nt tell you that. Another "NOS" item you can't live without. I would say beware. I bought a part from him, once.

Service replacement carb.
"Funny" would be a polite way to put it.

Vintage Musclecar is correct. Original carbs never used hex head bowl screws either. Also the baseplates are somewhat different.
Date is is the wrong place on the airhorn also when i compared it to my original 9-5-2. JMO.

Holley has made many new runs of "vintage musclecar" carburetors in the last two years with no dates on the air horns for several vendors who apply their own dates - this is one of them.
