I was not sure where to put this under, "paint and body" or "restoration".
What color if any are the seat tracks on a 67. When I took them off they had rust, metal, old black and what looks to be magic marker. Yup.
What color, if any, were the originals? If they where a metal..well it looks a bit differn't now. If it was black, fill me in.

Mine are black but so is the rest of my interior. I pretty sure they are original.

My 69's were never painted. When I prepped them, I painted with "bare steel" The adjusting bracket appeared to have been dipped in silver paint.

My orginal 69s where also unpainted...still are...sort of
The ends where one can see them I touched up with a bit of the green interior paint used on the steering column, just for appearance sake.
