What hold the back of the cowl vent grille up on a 69 camaro? Does it sit on the windshield? I don't have the glass put in yet.

It slides under the reveal molding. The upper cowl/lower dash metal holds it up The foam gaskets help keep it from vibrating.

The bottom windshield moulding retainer clips have a second purpose. They hold the rear of the cowl panel up against the moulding. You need to have the glass in place, then install the moulding, then you can slip the cowl panel into the moulding clips, align it up with the surrounding sheet metal and install the screws. smile.gif
