Hello all, I have a question. Where do I find a thinner spacer that goes between the apply piston and the first steel inside the drrect clutch pack. I want to increase the number of frictions and steels in that clutch pack. I currently have 5 in the forward pack and I would like to have 5 to the direct one also. Oh this is for my race car .
Thanks in advance

I dont think you can make up enough room without shaving down the piston. I could be wrong though.....

Its a stamped steel appl piston and there are variable thickness spacers that are between the piston and the 1st steel. I am sure of that.

Its not aluminum? I knew there were varying thicknesses of plates, but I thought the difference wouldnt be enough to make up for another steel and friction. You might get em from a local transmission shop.
