I have the side exit system, the heater core in/out run parallel to the firewall, but it does not say which one is in and which one is out. On the parts or in the instructions. Does anybody know how to tell which one is which? One is larger than the other, but I don't know which is which. Anybody have any ideas for me?

I am trying to get it installed and run the Water valve too, and that needs to be inline from the heater core. On a BBC intake I see 2 places where I can run the heater hoses. One is supposed to run from the intake to the water pump, but I am running an electric water pump, which does not have any other inputs for heater hoses....

Where do I run the 2 heater hoses on my setup? Which one goes from the intake to the heater core and which one runs to the intake from the heater core?

Not sure on which is in/out on your classic unit but running them both to the intake is not going to flow very well to your heater core. Maybe more people running electric pumps with no provision for heater hoses can chime in.

That's what I am hoping too, from what I can tell it's one of the only ways to get a MArk VIII fan to work in a 68 Camaro.... I have to run a short pump, but with the Procharger on the driver's side, running a short pump it looks like the belt will interfere with the lower rad hose....

Should I run the 3/4 to heater port #1 or heater port # 2?

I was not sure how to add the pic so I posted the link to it..... On another board I was told the 3/4 is the intake to heater core and the 5/8 is the return...

3/4" fittings, use 3/4" hose.
5/8 fittings , use 5/8" hose.

The pressure side is 5/8", the return side is 3/4".

Thanks Tom, I was unsure of which was pressure/return. From what I have available in the pic for inlet/outlet, which one should be the inlet to the heater core and which one should be the return from the heater core? Port 1 or 2?

how does it flow into a radiator?
Hot water (inlet) on top, cool water (outlet) on bottom.

If they are side by side, the core is probably lying flat too, so either direction is OK.
