Did the words "Cowl Induction" appear on any version of the 69 Camaro Cowl Hood? I have seen Cowl hoods Emblems on Chevelle's but have not seen them on any Camaro’s. Is that because they were never built that way?

Thanks.

No - they were never used on Camaros - just on Chevelles. Camaros used "302" on the Z28 with the optional ZL2 "Special Ducted Hood", and some Yenkos had "427" installed by Yenko, not the factory.

Just because they didn't offer the "Cowl Induction" emblem on Camaros, doen't mean you can't use it. Everybody calls it a cowl hood, and it looks great! I installed mine by trimming of the pins and filing them smooth. The emblems come with an adhesive foam cut to the shapes of the letters. Then measure and mask a line on both sides to get them on straight. Peel off the backing to expose the adhesive and making sure the hood is clean and wax free, stick them on. I did leave about a 1" gap between "Cowl" and "Induction"
