Ok, I'm looking for some background/place to start (when it gets warmer). My 2002 Intrigue (70k miles) has an antifreeze smell around the engine (no smoke/odor from tailpipe), but no loss on the ground I can see. The tank is just at the low mark, so I am guessing it is loosing a little fluid.
This car has a 3.5L OHC engine (not the 3.4 common in many GM cars), which I think is often referred to as a 'short-star' - a north star derivitive. Do these have any history of common issues (head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, etc.)? I know the 3.4L engines do, but they are very different engines.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
