May have to sell My 68SS soon because My back has gotten so bad I can't hardly drive anymore. I also have stomach problems and I am going in Friday for Cat Scans. I hate the thought of having to sell it but just to have it sit in My Garage is like having a nice Steak dinner sitting in front of Me without being able to eat it. Life I guess does come at You fast. I have no idea where to list it if I have to as I hate the thought of dealing with Ebay although I have 150 good feedback ratings. I plan on keeping My 96 SS SLP because it is very comfortable to drive and has an automatic trans where as My 68 is a 4 Speed.

Edd - Sorry to hear of your aliments. Hope things change for the better for you soon.

As for the car, you must have a $$$ figure in your head as to what you want to get for it. Perhaps post it here in the classified with some pics. Hopefully then another Camaro lover can care for it.

Edd,

They found what out what was wrong that was causing my left leg to make me gimp around using an MRI if it is different than a Cat Scan?? I'm not up on these things at all is why I mention it..

PDG67 the cat scans are for My stomach. I had MRIs on the back I have three discs totally gone and three ruptured discs and spinal stenosis I guess bieng an Animal trainer and Stuntman in Movies and My other vocation being a ASE Tech proved to be My downfall in latter life. Thanks for the thoughts.
I will consider posting it for sale on TC first. I have over 35K in the car but I know it won't be worth anywhere near that.
Thanks everybody for Your concerns and thoughts Edd Gordon

At least you'll still have a Camaro, and that is good.

How about new seats & an auto for that 68?

I hope you feel better soon.

When I restored the Car I wanted to keep it looking like a 100% Stock looking 4speed SS incase I had to sell it I thought it would be easier to sell stock looking and I wanted a sleeper. It has a 406 small block with iron heads and the whole car looks like a stock SS350 4 speed except it is really fast and with the Suspension and brake mods it handles and stops much better then a stocker. If someone wants to make a Pro touring car out of it all they need to do is put in Seats and Big wheels and tires. My back hurts Me just driving My 2000 Blazer, but My 96 SS I can drive for at least an hour before it starts to hurt. I spent over 4 years doing the Resto Mod in My garage in My spare time and I did almost all the work by Myself except for the paint. I totally took the Car apart and even pulled the frame and the entire drivetrain by Myself just using the proper leverage and My Engine lift. I had thought about putting fourth Gen seats in it as they fit in easy and they are very comfortable but I never had the heart to change the Seats and the thought of changing it to a automatic from the Hurst operated four speed would Kill Me. Well anyway again thanks for Your help Guys and if I do sell it I still will be an active poster on this site. Edd
