I have replaced my fan switch and my blower still doesnt work. Seems there is no power getting to the purple wire that goes to the blower motor. Could it be the blower switch on the main control assembly ? Its about the only thing I havent replaced.
Thanks

i thought the blower motor wire was orange not purple? i could be wrong but you should double check that. i thought the purple went to the solenoid.

Check your wiring. As previously posted by others, my 67' also has an orange wire to the fan motor. The purple wire goes to the starter solenoid. Hope this helps.

Purple color was used for the fan motor on 68 and 69 A/C equipped cars and orange for non-A/C cars. 67 Used purple for A/C and non-A/C cars according to the factory wiring diagrams.
I'm not sure what you mean by the the two descriptions of the "fan switch" and the "blower switch on the main control assembly." Sounds like one and the same.
But, first check the fuse. If that's good, go to the fan switch in the main control assembly. With the switch in LOW, check for voltage at the yellow wire. In MED, check for voltage at the light blue wire. On high, check the orange wires.
Tell us what you find.
