Hello all, Any tips on best method to remove old scrtached up window tinting?

walmart has tint remove, works alright. be sure to keep a sharp blade. Now, if the tint was expensive, be patient, as said.

scrape or peel if you can. when you get down to the glue use a spray bottle with water and amonia. spray it on the glue and you will see it turn white and get rubbery. then scoop it off with the razor blade and wipe with paper towels.
if the tint is not in too bad of shape (bubbled/ cracked) you can use a heat gun. get it hot, almost to the melting point, then start to peel it back slowly. heating as you go. this works very well and leaves little glue to remove.

i have removed thousands of square feet of tint. i prefer the heat gun.

Will pick up the heat gun and give it a try. Thanks!
