I read a lot of different posts in different forums asking " Is this a scam ? ". Do you think we need a section where common scams like " Your E-Bay account will be closed if you don't send your personal information," "I'll send you more money than you wanted for the car just send back the difference by Western Union right away", and other cons could be posted so members don't get ripped off. I've never been ripped off but after selling a few vehicles on E-Bay the crooks sure try. The bad part is some criminals are smart and seem to come up with new scams everyday.

There are also two articles in Chevy Punch Magazine (http://www.chevypunch.com/) (free online) that talk about these scams in detail.

It's also listed as a link on the top of the Classifieds plus we have the scam alert listed in our classifieds on the "post an ad" page and then on the next screen we ask for a confirmation that they know about the scam. Somehow guys skip right by it.

We do have a special section of the classifieds just for scam warnings. I think some that who are anxious to sell keep hoping that perhaps "this one" is real.
