I am supposed to be able to pick up me baby from the paint shop tomorrow. I know I should have her wet sanded and polished. Are there specific questions I should ask the person doing the sanding? How long should this process take? Dont want to go through another "LEARNING EXPEREINCE" thanks again.

Would think there would be no problem if you ask how long he/she has been wet sanding. You might also ask who gets the bill to fix any burned in spots that happen when the car is buffed out. NEVER hurts to ask for names of other customers he had done work with and then ask those persons how their cars turned out>

Do you have 2 stage paint (base/clear) ?
If so, I am doing mine..one panel at a time. Mygeuss is about 1 hour to do a door or fender.
The results are great. Use 2000 grit wet paper on a soft pad for curved surfaces and a harder pad for flat surfaces. Stay away from edges.
Use a lot of water from a spray bottle to spray surface and clean paper as the paper loads up fast.
After a few passes are made wipe the area dry and look for "orange peel" continue sanding till smooth like glass.
If you stick with 2000 and keep checking progress you won't break through the clear.
Meguirs has a fine cut compound that works good to finish off and smooth out surface. Then use a good glaze then yellow wax. Lots of work but worth it.
