my 67 r/s 327 with the De-lux interior is in pieces, well at least the trim / emblems and interior are. In my attempt to "piece" it back together, I have hunted for pics , books, whatever with no luck. I can find 67 SS , or standard interior pics of 69's but they are so different. I have a crapload of trim in the trunk that doesnt go anywhere (at least on a Camaro!) I did manage to find a R and then found the S , I think these go on the front fenders like that of the other ones. but all the other emblems were removed , and the holes were filled when it was painted.. I dont know what goes where. or even what it is supposed to look like. Does anyone have any pics of a 67 R/S with Deluxe interior?

can I go with the RS/SS exterior, or is that different too (the grill emblem excluded)

I bought a template for Rick's First Generation parts and it worked great. It located the proper areas for the emblems. The holes in my car were filled as well.
I believe the site is www.firstgen.com. (http://www.firstgen.com.)

Chris -

Invest in a copy of the Factory Assembly Manual - can get it from any of the parts houses (Ricks, Firewheel, Year One, etc.) If memory serves me right they sell for about $18.95 - they are worth millions -

They are reprint copies of the assembly instructions used on the assembly line. It shows exploded pictures of every part of your car.

For example - on the placement of the RS on the fender it shows first hole is 1.98 inches from second hole. How far first hole is from front edge - how far from top edge etc. VERY VERY detailed.

Steve:

Thanks for the info on the assembly book, I ordered it from firewheelclassics.com, they have tons of stuff. After I make my wishlist for the trimwork I hope that they have it... although the spring Carlsile PA show is coming next month, and that is Camaro Heaven for parts...

If anyone is interested in the show , it is located in Carlsile PA, about 45 minutes from York PA ,they have alot of stuff, its about 80 acres of carparts heaven. I forget the website but it was somthing like carsatcarlsile.com or however its spelled. anyone else know the site?
