SavageCanuck Feb 24th, 07, 08:48 PM You just push the bottom of the seat backwards and pull up.To remove the seat back there are 2 screws in plain view after the bench is out and then lift it up of the catchs at the top wagonman Feb 24th, 07, 10:04 PM well it helps if you can bench press 485lbs.....theyre hard to do sometimes jr68 Feb 24th, 07, 10:29 PM I do one side at a time about a foot from the side grab the bottom edge both hands palms up push in hard for about an inch and a half then up a bit and let it back out then do the other side the same way. For a good pic of the latch see this thread http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=97714 1stgenCR Feb 24th, 07, 10:59 PM I find it helpful to use your whole body. So rather than try to push from outside the vehicle leaning in, I slide my front seats all the way forward and crouch down in front of the rear seat and push with my legs/body. But everyone else pretty much covered it. Push back up and pull out, one side at a time. Sort of like a U motion... booman55 Mar 12th, 07, 10:57 AM After reading this thread I was successful in taking out my back seat this weekend. Knowledge is power, it was definitely easier knowing the tricks of the trade. BTW, I had to take it out because my seat belts were tucked under the seat. :beers: to you guys for being so helpful -Boo jr68 Mar 12th, 07, 03:33 PM I love a happy ending :) |
