I'm finally getting my dash back together after about 3 months. I'm installing a new AM/FM cassette player with CD capabilities. I have 2 wires that come from the power antenna mounted on the right rear qtr. One wire is red the other is green. Which one goes to the radio and which goes to BATT at the fuse box?

Sorry I can't be more specific. The radio is a KNW-801 (clone of a Kenwood)

I have no info on the antenna. It came with the car, has a black plastic housing with no marking that I can see.

I'd assume the colors generally follow convention, so that the red would be the constant hot to the BAT fed terminal, and the green would be the power from the radio power antenna lead.

That's my way of thinking too. I just needed another opinion.

Red and Green? I think its usually Red and Blue. Can you see anywhere if it tells you what kind of antenna it is.
