I am going to be painting a 69 Z/28 next week and the owner wants the stripes on it , he's calling them "huggers" i dont even know what to call them ! They are on the hood /cowl and deck lid , are these called ss stripes or Z/28 stripes and where can i get what the exact dimensions are ? I think they are called Z/28 stripes , am i right ?

Yes Z/28 had the stripes on the hood cowl and trunk. You can buy stencil kits through most of the camaro suppliers, or get dimensions from the factory assembly manual. Year one, and NPD have the stencil kits as well as the assembly manual for sure.
