Does anyone have a DEI Mechanical Hood Lock w/ Starter Kill (part #s 565T-567T) installed on their 1st gen. Camaro? I'd be interested in hearing your opinion of this device. I'm looking for options in locking my 68's hood as a security measure.

I'm looking at security options on my camaro too. You listed a part #, who sells it? It sounds like what I'm looking for. A friend of mine had someone open his hood and put roofing nails down his carb in his 454 Corvette...ouch!!

but I can't be sure without seeing the DEI product. The DEI retailers in my area have either not heard of the product or can order it for me but do not have one in stock.
