I'am planning to put a taurus fan on my 383,which now has a flex fan.I don't have a overheat problem, but was wanting to know if I can run this with just the electric fan?

The electric fan will work just fine by itself.

make sure to power it thru a relay, and use a temp switch to turn it on.

Don't forget the Ford "Caution Fan" sticker since it's a Ford fan ;)

the only reason I clicked on this thread was cuz it said "ford fan" that was a close one , I thought there was going to be an intervention :D

This past weekend I saw on TV a classic car auction. They had a mint 69 Z28 that sold for 85K. It had the "caution fan" sticker on the shroud.

Caution stickers are a waste of time..after a while one doesnt notice them.
Many yrs ago I slipped and the fan hit the end of my thumb..3 times, slicing thru to the bone...
that was not the bad part
The joint bruising in the base of my thumb and my shoulder was what hurt the most.
