Hey all,

My Drivers side window tends to drop a few inches after driving a while and/or going over some bumpy road. Is this a sign the regulator is worn out?

I have all the window parts installed including the guide plates.

Take the regulator out and see what is worn. More likely than not it needs replacing...

maybe the spring is broken in your reg........we can only guess a million things...

you need to investigate.......

I just reassembled the entire door a few months ago. Before that I removed all dirt and grease from all the tracks, wheels, regulator and inspected everything before resinstalling.

The sprint is not broken. Out of the car both regulators would spring to the "closed" position if I used a window crank to move them. I'm guessing the driviers side spring is just a lot weaker / worn out but wanted to see what the experts thought.
