If you are ever the butt of a creul window painting prank, i've found that nothing takes it off better than brillo. I thought this might sratch the glass, but i don't see any, and it's the only thing that has worked. Now, my question: I have an 87 z-28 w/ orignal hood and i was playing around w/ the idea of cutting holes under the louvers. has anyone tried this? would it help any? Would water getting directly onto the engine hurt it alot? How could i prevent this? (w/o "just not cutting it")

The best windshield cleaner and buffing compound is "Bon-A-Me". Well, that's how to pronounce it, but not how to spell it. It's like powered Comet (for the kitchen), but is non abrasive and will buff out years of road "sand-blasting" Use it with very fine steel wool and water. You might want to tape off your cowl. It can be a mess.
