use base clear, enamels old school and someone that still uses it needs their head examined. Personally i would stick with dupont too. Thier premier clear is awesome, as long as u have access to a booth, as for it is recommened it be baked. Other wise I like thier V7500.

PPG, Ditzler and House of Kolor all make great paint sytems. Just be sure you stick with one brand thru the entire paint process!!!!.

I like Duponts paints but I switched because the clear is just too damn hard to buff out it you don't get right to it. Sherwin Williams and PPG are mt 2 favorites now and in that order. Almost all make good acrylic enamels, but it is cheaper this route.
I stay with BC/CC for all mine and customers rides.

PPG makes a great product. They make a good building primer K36. It works very good. But what ever you deside stick with the same stuff until you are finised. Different brands might have a chemical reaction with each other and cause a big mess up.
