Sence I dont know anything about body work, and attempt to save myself some money by doing only my front Clip - My question is, I am stripping with an orbital sander using 40 Grit paper (2 layers + Primer) to the metal, then Im going over it again with 150 Grit Fine paper. Is this sufficiant? before priming?? If not what is the correct paper grits to use before priming? And what type of body primer should I use for the car? Also, when reducing the primer (I am using a sprayer) what is the reducer ratio per a sprayer can size?

The best advice I can give you is, go here:
www.autobodystore.com (http://www.autobodystore.com)

This page has an excellent discussion area, and you can buy products for body work too...really a great place for information.

Using a 40 grit on an orbital is alot of work. Save yourself some time and use a chemical stripper. Wash the area thoroughly, then sand with 80 grit then progress to 120 to smooth everything out., Fill, sand , prime, sand , prime again, sand , paint, wetsand

If you do not want to use the chemicals, then go and rent a sander (some people like myself call it a cutting wheel sander) and use it to strip. it's alot faster.
