Hey everyone, so I have my rear quaters tacked weld on, my question is do I need to lay a bead all the way around the the panel, or just spot weld more and then lay down the metal 2 metal filler?

weld the seam solid, in short beads (sitch weld). Don't lay long welds or it may warp.

I believe the correct way that everyone is doing to avoid warpage and what Im doing is alot of lil tack welds while moving alot until there is no gaps between them... I can see it being a long tideous process..

Yes, it is. I did an 80% on my 76 Nova. It took awhile to weld the seam. I still got some warpage. Nothing too bad but it happened in a spot or 2.
