Found this while browsing ebay, a $55,000 engine for sale in Japan, sounds pretty crazy.

It's possible.. I cannot tell you how many blue chip racing Porsche's ended up in the Matsuda collection... the Japanese are car crazy too for all makes and models so the story is plausible... the motor does look like it is in a 63-67 engine bay by the looks of the partial of the top of the cowl in one pic... not saying it is this guys motor but he does have some ebay transactions and he buys and sells vette stuff.... could be legit. And for 55k if the numbers check out ........

Hey I know where there's a big bore can-am block. Wonder if I could say I was in Japan and put it on eBay and get like 10 times what it's worth?
